Issue Summary
Issue 1: Nikitā Ridley, a South African native and former slave, as wife to Arthur Ridley, Mayor of Bulawayo, she struggles to walk the line of staying true to her heritage and being a proper Englishwoman.
Issue 2: The survivors of the Bulawayo zombi attack gather on the Cape-to-Cairo British Railway. Now they must decide how to pick up the pieces of their lives and move forward, or return home in an attempt to regain what they lost. Meanwhile, Nikki receives a communication from the Beyond.
Issue 3: As the train approaches unsafe speeds, the survivors of the Bulawayo zombi attack struggle to survive against the growing horde while our heroes struggle to uncover the mystery behind them. Meanwhile, the voices in Nikki’s head grow stronger: is it a malevolent spirit or an angel in the darkness?
Issue 4: KABOOM! The train explodes leaving our struggling survivors stranded in the African Veld, 50 miles from the nearest town. In the ensuing chaos, Nikki’s powers fully manifest; and when the dust settles Erin confronts her about the dark secrets Nikki has kept locked away.
Issue 5: Nikki is forced to confront the demons of her own creation, even at the cost of her very soul.
